Research

Michal Struzik is currently working on the new type of researchable all-solid-state lithium ion batteries. These works focus on safe solid state materials based on engineered garnets and perovskites. The main benefits of new type of batteries are the increase in energy density, safety and wider thermal operation window when compared to state-of-the-art lithium batteries with liquid electrolyte. The use of new classes of materials opens also new possibilities for innovative design and applications.
